Dutch Hollow Onboarding #8 Carpet Care
Learn why keeping soil localized and removing contaminates daily are paramount to a quality carpet maintenance program.
Most modern carpeting is comprised of man-made fibers that are very durable. When maintained properly, they can withstand years of heavy use. It is important to understand though, unlike hard surface floors, the dynamic nature of carpeted flooring can hold a significant amount of dirt and contaminants before becoming visually apparent.
In addition, the soft fibers are also more susceptible to damage and staining. Because of these factors, it is necessary to regularly maintain these soft surface floors by removing dry soils through vacuuming and addressing spots as they happen.
